I love taking photos. I love capturing my everyday life — the small details and the big events. Just having my camera in hand makes me happy! I’ve taken pictures for as long as I can remember but really began to care about improving my skills when my son was born. I turned my camera off of auto in 2005 and never turned back.

I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2006 after accumulating 5 years worth of digital photos on my hard drive. I have a photo first style and often scrap them BIG for impact! I am on the Creative Team at Designer Digitals and am admin for our Photo A Day Flickr group.

My favorite subjects to photograph are my husband Shea, my almost 4-year-old son Ian, my garden, and my food and beverages! My site.
