Get It Stamped! 101 with Sharyn Tormanen starts today.
Sharyn’s a “details” gal who KNOWS stamping, and she’s not leaving out one bit out in this class. Even if you’ve done some stamping, you’re going to find new information from the very beginning, when Sharyn tells you how to shop for, prepare, use, and store a large variety of stamps and inks. I love her approach to thinking about and categorizing stamping images—the purposes they can serve on a variety of projects and the ways they can be combined and further “techniqued.”
You’re always “grandfathered” in at Get It Scrapped!
Any time we re-offer (or even revamp) a class, if you took it the first time around, you’re welcome the 2nd time around. Souvenirs of the Season was a fabulous class last December. This year, we’re presenting it in November, so that you’ll be thinking about and saving all sorts of holiday memorabilia and making old-fashioned albums! Look for new versions of Oodles of Doodles, Be Real, and the entire Get It Scrapped lineup (Scrapbooking Events, Everyday Life, Travel, and Yourself) in coming weeks.
The Graffiti of My Life has begun.
If you’d like to make an art journal –from loose pages to finished, bound album—there’s still time to join. Richly illustrated pdfs and 8 detailed videos show you everything you need to know.
Are you interested in making bound, printed photobooks?
Shutterfly Savvy includes lessons that will take a newbie from start to finish AND IT INCLUDES one 8”x8” 20-page hardcover photobook from Shutterfly AND four digital page kits full of enough product to make multiple albums.
Help us understand more about memory keeping in your life.
Our first ever survey “Memory Keeping: Do You?” is up and waiting for your input. By early December, we’ll have the results ready to share with all who participate. We’re interested in the ways you tell and preserve your stories, whether that be with blogging, diary keeping, scrapbooking, memoir-writing, or even fiction. Tell us how you do it—and forward the survey link to your friends.
Look for changes to the Get It Scrapped home page this month.
Over the last two years, our teachers have put together a wealth of information, and we’ll be upgrading to a rich content-management system that will let you find answers and resources for getting it scrapped (and photographed and journaled and digitally edited and more).
