Scrapbook Page Sketch and Template Bundle: March 5 2010

by Debbie Hodge

You can find a new sketch every Friday in the Get It Scrapped Sketch Gallery.

This week’s sketch/template bundle includes two one-pagers and one two-pager.

This is a sketch that lends itself to being used on a page with an elegant tone. The “M” represents a monogram embellishment. You could use any largish embellishment in that spot. My ebook Embellishing With Alphas is full of scrapbook page ideas that use alphabets and monograms for embellishing. Also adding to the formal or elegant feel are the narrow (and in the digital version beveled) mats on each photo AND the patterned paper foundation backing them up. Additionally, you could use an inner page mat that is just an oonch smaller than the canvas (here 12″ x 12″) so that there is a narrow mat to the whole piece.

As mentioned in your seminar information, I will definitely use these templates to practice page division. I thank you for the info.
