Enjoyed listening today! It’s amazing how much story we can get from looking at one photo. My most recent photo was of my hubby on the ladder putting up a new ceiling fan and would be perfect for telling the story of what a fantastic handyman he is and how he’s always willing to do little projects around the house.

Ronnie I make crêpe’ style pancakes here in Aus. Can’t say I ever really had them often, but my hubby loves them so we have pancakes more often. When we stayed in a hotel recently I got Emily ‘pancakes’ and it was one half inch thick almost cakey thing LOL. I was expecting 2-3 crêpes or a few pikelets!!

That rice stuff to me sounded like rice cream (tinned white rice with a milky syrup), we’d eat that cold with ice cream

As for French toast it’s just egg with a little water and peanut paste. My friends would put sweeter stuff like jam or cinnamon & sugar on it though. Ugh!

It’s always interesting to hear how much closer my Aussie food experience is to the UK, than the US. But then again my mum’s family were very much English eaters – I mean mum only heard about hamburger patties thanks to my uncle’s baseball friend from the US!
