Hi There! My name is Amy Kingsford and I have lived all of my life in Northern Utah. I am married to the funniest man I have ever met and am a mother to one very silly, but beautiful little boy, who has become somewhat of a muse for me over the past couple of years! While we hope to have more children soon, we are enjoying our one-on-one time with our little man!

I first became interested in scrapbooking at a very young age, as I would make memorabilia collections of my favorite sports stars and my Hollywood crushes (and I am embarrassed to admit that I still have most of them….the books I mean…ok, some of the crushes too !) By the age of 17, my tools had switched from construction paper and crayons to a more conventional form of scrapbooking and I soon became obsessed with patterned papers, stickers and decorative scissors. I have been going strong now for ten years, preserving the memories of my families’ lives and learning from fabulously talented people along the way!

After becoming involved in the wonderful online community that Debbie has created here at Get It Scrapped, I soon found myself venturing into the new and exciting worlds of Art Journaling, Photography, Photo Editing, Digital Scrapbooking and more! I have met some of the most wonderful women here and have learned more than I had ever thought possible! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you, because I know there is so much we can learn from each other!

I’ve taken pictures for as long as I can remember but really began to care about improving my skills when my son was born. I turned my camera off of auto in 2005 and never turned back.

I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2006 after accumulating 5 years worth of digital photos on my hard drive. I have a photo first style and often scrap them BIG for impact! I am on the Creative Team at Designer Digitals and am admin for our Photo A Day Flickr group.

I’ve been scrapping digitally for over four years, ever since my best buddy, Pattie, lured me away from paper scrapping and started my digital addiction! During this time, I have taken thousands of photos of my grandchildren, but not all of them have turned out exactly as I had hoped. Learning to use Photoshop to improve my photos has saved me! I have been editing and restoring photos for clients and at local scrapbook stores and teaching photo editing classes in my area. I’m very excited to be working with Debbie here at her wonderful site! I am on the creative teams at Designer Digitals, E-Scape and Scrap and KB and Friends. I have been published in Simple Scrapbooks and Digital Scrapbooking Magazine.

HI! My name is Michelle Houghton. I have been scrapbooking for over ten years. I started when my husband and I got married. I bought the boxed starter set from Wal-mart and was in love. Even before I began scrapbooking, I have been a lifelong artist, majoring in Fine Arts at the University of Oregon and then teaching high school art for 7 years before having my first kiddo. My style has changed dramatically over the years from decorative scissors and as many photos as you can cram onto one page to layouts that take a little more time and include a lot of handmade elements and journaling. If I have a style or signature it is probably doodling. The pages I create that I like the most are ones that include my own art on them somewhere. I am currently a busy stay-at-home Mom to two beautiful girls and a husband in Iowa. I am thrilled to be teaching again and especially on Debbie’s amazing site. I have learned a ton about scrapping in the classes I have taken here myself. My blog.

As far back as she can remember, Sharyn has enjoyed bringing photos and stories together. “What I really enjoy,” says Sharyn, “is including little details in my journaling, bits of history, bits of current trends and issues, bits of real life to go along with the story and photos at hand. I also enjoy capturing those things beyond the obvious, those little things that will have my children and me saying, “Oh yeah! I remember that!” in the years down the road. ”

Sharyn’s style is classic and straightforward. She loves event layouts. She loves two-page layouts and pages that tell a story. Since 2000, she’s had pages published in many magazines and received two Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame Honorable Mentions. Sharyn currently designs for Creative Memories. Also, a big stack of her pages are featured in the Memory Makers Books’ “Get It Scrapped!” (by Debbie Hodge). Sharyn’s blog.
