1. What is the story on this page in one sentence?
My friends and coworkers convinced me that the little balls of yumminess Id been sharing were so delicious that people would buy them, thus the launch of Bliss Cake Bites.
2. Why were you interested in staging this still life and recording its story on a scrapbook page?
Meeting the baking demands of Bliss was hard work. I made over 2000 cake bites that year and felt it was an important story of taking a chance that should be captured.
The layout is a Lisa Dickinson scraplift of "Happy Girl" from the Masterful Scrapbook Design lesson Oomph & Polish. I loved the use of pattern paper strips and found it was a great way to use my 6 x 6 paper pads.
3. Do you have tips for others who want to take staged still lifes? This could be about choosing a subject or about the act of staging and / or photographing.
Pattern paper propped up on foam core sheets make an easy and inexpensive backdrop for shooting still life photos.
