You can post in the CalvinBall Gallery here . . . and we will have weekly threads over in the FB Group. I"ll be back with a link when we get the first one  up.

Usually it's one point per rule, per page (so all the shiny stuff gets you one point or all the mixed media gets you one point)

That means making a video where you share your scrapbooking process or making a video where you share layouts that you've created.

And ask away! We're all here figuring this out together!

Thanks, that clarifies it!

And it's sooo much more fun figuring this out together, too! Appreciate your encouragement!

Using something from your stash that is more than 5 years old
Using 3 or mor patterned papers on one layout

Actually putting your layouts in your album/filing them when they are finished

Using PL cards?

Make 5 layouts in one day.

Use a kit to create 2+ layouts or projects.

Complete an unfinished project.

You only get points for stuff in the actual first post in this thread . .. Everything else is proposals for points not actual rules. The max for a layout right now is 6.

I would do one point for each kind of shiny thing on a page-- like if you have 4 staples, 2 metal charms and 3 places with glitter, I would do 3 points- one for staples, one for metal charms and one for glitter- not one point for each and every spot of glitter (that could be really time-consuming to count!)

I love this idea, my understanding for previous years were as Merrick stated

So I'd just like to clarify which way we're doing it this year, please?

Yes, I'd love to know which way we're doing points. I thought it was one point per line item. In previous years, the rules didn't include multiple items that I remember. Like using flair would be one line item, using mixed media/paint would be another, using enamel dots another, etc.

That's true .... we had some combined things in previous years but not as much... I'll take more points if we're giving them out LOL

Me too, Merrick! LOL

I'm OK with either way, just don't want to get too far tallying points!

Re: "If the rule lists several shiny things, for example, is it a point for each different one you use on a page or 1 point if you use something shiny, no matter how many different shiny things used....?"

The idea behind the rule is that as long as there is something/anything shiny there on the project, regardless of whether that is one shiny thing or 100 shiny things, you get one bonus point total.  The rules have been updated to clarify this so that there is no confusion re: earning challenge points.

First timer question: Will the rules be updated on the 1st page or will we have to read through all the comments to find rules that have been suggested?

This is my first time too, and from what I can see the first post is the Master List and is updated. I check it each time I'm here, or refresh it if the page has been left open, so I don't miss any additions.
