Be inspired by a layout or project in a print scrapbook magazine or book - I bet you all have one issue of something, maybe really old, in your scrap room.

So currently I see 6 rules. Is that accurate?

I think I was getting the rules and bonus points confused!

Only the rules in the first post count. Everything else is proposals for new rules but are not rules yet. Just ideas ans suggestions. Ignore the rest of the thread when tallying points - only post one counts for any points.

This list of bonus point challenges has been updated! We will be adding no more than 25 each week, but keep those suggestions coming -- while we can't include all of them, we are on the lookout for trends in suggestions and rules that add more flavor and quirk to our Calvinball festivities. Awesome suggestions so far, by the way!

I apologize for any confusion with my earlier post about points-- I was at the beginning of a migraine and my thoughts were a bit muddled when I posted that.  Hopefully the updated rules make a bit more sense now.  Thanks to Jill for restating what I meant to say!

Question-- do we only count rules that are on the first post?

And we need a kill point -- for killing a kit, collection pack, sticker sheet, package of embellishments... (Using up the entirety of a product)

(I'm not sure what the digital equivalent of this one would be, though?

I think the digi equivalent would be using a certain number of embellishments from the same kit/collection.
I think it’s a great rule! But one thing:

How many letters could be left in a pack of thickers/alphas before they are “killed”? Because if it’s out of vowels I think it’s pretty much done.

I don't know but that's a rule I should really figure out for myself because I'm very bad at leaving alpha stickers in my storage that seriously I'd have to use a scrabble cheat tool to figure out words I could actually use them for!'

I added sequins to the list -- but really, anything shiny counts, so don't worry if it isn't specified in that rule.

As for #14, everything in the list is a form of a textile, so washi wouldn't count unless it is fabric tape or cotton tape -- but maybe a future rule will include it!

Awesome!! Thanks! That totally makes sense! What about a rule for using a cut file on a layout? I don't know how that would be applied to digi scrappers, but it's a trend in paper scrapping.

Cut files are covered in the "Die Cuts, punches and fussy cutting rule" #12
