How did everyone do on the first day?!!! I didn't honk I'd have time to be crafty today but I did!! Yay!! I made a birthday card and 2 PL pages! I'm so happy with that! I'll post photos tomorrow if I have time. I hope you're all having fun!!

I scrapped two layouts. One I've posted and the other I'll post on Friday. Here's my first one:

10 Courthouse layouts complete, and 5 cards.  I will have to wait until I get some natural light to photograph for the gallery.  Since I work pretty much dark to dark, it will be the weekend before I can post some layouts.

Me--I cleaned my house, floors, furniture, worked at my job, cooked for two teen age boys, and a few other things. PLUS, I worked on 8 artsy layouts and started a couple more.

 

NOT!! the scrapping part is not true. Just thought I'd talk a little smack here. Watch out though, I plan on scrapping this weekend.

 

Congrats to all those who had time to scrap yesterday!

That's great! If you only do 1 page a day that's 31 pages. Which is a lot!

2 layouts finished, and ideas for the next 2.  But I made way more mess than I should have, so I need to clean up today. And then there is the matter of the housework - exasperated sigh!

I did one traditional and started a digital. Since dd had the stomach flu and was up at 2am, and then I got the stomach flu, I think that was REALLY good.

Completely derailed!!  My 2nd grandchild had his appendix rupture Tuesday night - emergency surgery for a 7 year old little buddy was tough for this Mimi. However, I've requested his momma get me some photos of his hospital adventure so I can document this into his book. Needless to say, I never made it to the loft yesterday - so my Calvinball starts today (man, the points list is long!!)

Slow start for me. I sorted a big pile of paper and started a 2 page layout, then had a meeting about our basement reno project. At least now I can stop worrying about how that will wreak havoc on my life and start planning for how to work from home in a construction site.

Completely derailed!!  My 2nd grandchild had his appendix rupture Tuesday night - emergency surgery for a 7 year old little buddy was tough for this Mimi. However, I've requested his momma get me some photos of his hospital adventure so I can document this into his book. Needless to say, I never made it to the loft yesterday - so my Calvinball starts today (man, the points list is long!!) 

 

Poor little guy! He's doing OK now though? And definitely document that adventure!

A reno would totally throw me off. I like things in order and in a certain way to be able to create . . . and that would drive me nuts. I said a little prayer for you, that you would be calm in the midst of your reno storm. LOL

I did fine on the first day - got 3 layouts done - whoopee! Can I keep up that pace? Who knows? I was disappointed, though, with my layouts. I hadn't done one for several months (making lots of cards and other projects and having the room redone). I feel like I lost my scrapping' mojo! Hopefully I'll find it today... or tomorrow...

I didn't even manage my smallish non-scrappy goal for yesterday, which was to renew my library book that is due today. (They were closed. We normally go in Thursdays, when they are open until 8:00, but my son has Festival tonight; I tried to go yesterday at 6:30, and they closed at 6:00.) 

 

No scrapbooking tonight either, although I'm hoping to take pictures of my son's 8th grade band at Festival. (I'm surprised it is at night; I thought this kind of thing went on during the school day, not in the evenings, although it does mean that I get to go when I thought I wouldn't be able to.)
